you can be my black kate moss tonight

so the other day at the gym, there was this black guy who looked like a bodybuilder. he was maybe 5'5 or 5'6, fucken jacked but in a good way, his proportions were near perfect and his back was crazy, did i mention he was black?

anyway.. i was watching him doing single-arm bicep curls on a cable pulley (arm positioned like he was doing a bicep pose) while i was listening to Kanye West - Stronger (A-Trak remix), HIGHLY recommended for working out. at that moment, i felt i watching a music video. watching this buff ass dude curl weight, with a confident, calm, collected look on his face. it was his facial expression that wow'd me. he was conquering the weight without showing pain, but rather showing enjoyment. symbolically it felt as though all of his problems were in his hands, and he was conquering them with pure confidence, intensity, enjoyment, control. it was a very symbolic moment.. why see obstacles in a negative way, when they can be opportunities to get better, harder, faster, stronger? i guess work is never over. why?

because...

duhh!
